Miami Dance Hub is a multi-faceted resource that offers one stop shopping for dance in Southern Florida. 
Our purpose is to develop a cohesive dance community with common goals and shared resources. We intend to unite, educate and excite dancers and audience members by promoting the wealth of opportunities available in dance skill development, experience and performance. Miami Dance Hub serves as a source of information to make dance in Miami more inviting, accessible and easy.
Miami Dance Hub is a non-profit organization fostering a collaborative professional dance community that empowers and equips artists and businesses to pursue their full potential. Since 2018, Miami Dance Hub offers digital resources, social platforms and industry events that connect dance professionals to networking and business opportunities.

Cameron Basden

Artistic Director


Cameron is a director, producer, educator, répétiteur and writer.  After a performing career with the Joffrey Ballet, she served as ballet master and co-associate director of that company and director of dance at Interlochen Center for the Arts.  Cameron was a muse for Gerald Arpino in the creation of his ballets and danced in a variety of styles by many noted choreographers.  She has worked in film projects with PBS, portrayed herself in Robert Altman’s movie, The Company and produces collaborative events throughout the U.S.  Cameron serves on the board of The Arpino Foundation, the City of Miami Arts and Entertainment Council, the advisory board for DanceNow! Miami, was honored to serve on the Cultural Arts Committee for the World OutGames Miami 2017 and is the dance writer for miamiartzine and Artburst Miami. She is committed to promoting dance visibility and growth in Southern Florida.


Trisha Carter

Executive Director


Trisha Carter is a professional dancer, entrepreneur, and change maker in South Florida.  She understands the importance of finding middle ground between dance and contemporary society.  After studying with a number of noted ballet instructors, Trisha completed her training at the Harid Conservatory and the Kirov Academy before joining Houston Ballet II. In Florida, Trisha has danced and toured with Cuban Classical Ballet, Miami Contemporary Dance Company, Dance Now Miami, and is presently in her second year with Dimensions Dance Theater of Miami where she also serves as company manager. As an entrepreneur, Trisha started Virtuos Capital Inc, to realign artists, audiences, philanthropy, and the investor community.  Trisha holds a B.B.A. in International Business & Trade and a B.S. in International Economics, which she continues to use to develop the performing arts in Southern Florida. 

Miami Dance Hub offers accessible information on performances, classes, resources, opportunities, events, auditions and dance happenings.
