The New World Dance Ensemble will present an evening of works by Robert Battle, Eduardo Vilaro, Ohad Naharin, Jessica Lang, Lara Murphy, and Jeffrey Lloyd Smith in a program that presents works by outstanding choreographers on a varied program suitable for all ages.

Our highly anticipated fall show will feature our trademark range of exciting choreographic talent, including the Main Stage premiere of company member Yanis Eric Pikieris’ Genus (a favorite at last spring’s Salon Showcase); Apollo & Daphne, based on the myth of a woman who turns into a tree to escape the Greek Sun god by Ben Needham-Wood of Smuin Ballet; and the return of Tara Lee’s Under the Olive Tree, a lush, thrilling portrait of ancient Greek deities.
Five captivating dancers, two virtuosic fiddle players and one amazing five-piece band radiate with passion as they perform in this new Celtic inspired dance production. Featuring the world’s top talents in Irish, Ottawa Valley and Modern Tap dancing, The StepCrew takes Celtic music and dance to the next level with completely original musical compositions and choreography.
The magic of the seasons comes to glorious life in this stunning production. Created by the world-famous composer Tchaikovsky nearly 200 years ago, The Nutcracker ballet tells the story of a spectacular Christmas Eve party and the magical events that take place late that night. With dancers of all ages, colorful costumes and breathtaking music, this beautiful performance is a true holiday tradition and a wonderful introduction to the ballet.
Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without the enchanting dance story of a little girl and her Nutcracker Prince, who overcome the malevolent Mouse King to journey to a fantastical Land of Sweets. Professional ballet stars join talented young dancers in Miami Youth Ballet’s beloved production.
