Sanctuary of the Arts

Sanctuary of the Arts and Miami Dance Hub hosts a free Open Casting Call for dancers 18+ for production work, music theater, concert dance and industrial work. The full day audition includes ballet, contemporary, jazz dance, latin styles and couples. Auditions are led by master instructors in their field including Nathalia Arja, Liz Malm, Richard Amaro & Ray Sullivan.

Featuring a jury panel of local industry professionals including: Rafi Maldonado (Sanctuary of the Arts) Hannah Baumgarten & Diego Salterini (Dance NOW! Miami), Richard Amaro, Agatha Wright (Fluxhaus), Mary Carmen Catoya (Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida) and Ray Sullivan (Tango Out).

Move Better, Feel Better! Learn how to optimize your movement as a dancer for best performance.

Join clinicians from the HSS Performing Arts Medicine Collaborative for a free day of dance wellness including dance specific health screening, educational lectures, networking, and community building with dance medicine experts. Participation is free but registration is required and by appointment only. Appointments are available in both NYC & Florida. All dance levels welcome!

After a year of watching dance on screens, live dance has returned to the stage, stronger than ever. Now, live dance is often combined with virtual elements to create a total experience. What do projections mean and why add them? How do they enhance the atmosphere and the message?

Featuring performances and dialogue by Dance NOW! Miami & Karen Peterson and Dancers, and choreographer Donna Murray.
